POSITION: Financial Reporting Manager
MGR Accounting Recruiters, a Teamshares Network company, is searching for a Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager for a client in San Antonio. The Financial Reporting Manager who will oversee our clients's financial reporting and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing audits, and maintaining internal controls. The role requires close collaboration with the Finance Director and other departments to ensure financial transparency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree preferred.
- Certifications: CPA or CGFO highly desirable.
- Experience: 5+ years in governmental accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GASB, and government regulations.
- Coordinate annual audits and assist with financial planning.
- Maintain policies for regulatory compliance and internal controls.
- Supervise financial staff and provide financial guidance to departments.
