MGR Accounting Recruiters, a Teamshares Network company, is searching for a Controller for a construction-industry client in north San Antonio.
The Controller is responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This includes the preparation of financial statements, tax reporting, and internal controls. The Controller will also work with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Administer the company's accounting system
- Develop and implement financial strategies
- Manage the company's tax compliance
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management
- Oversee the work of the accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or CMA certification a plus
- 8+ years of experience in financial accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
