Sr. Corporate Accountant (CPA) - Commercial Real Estate Company

Position Overview:

Our client, a successful Commercial Real Estate company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Accountant with a CPA certification to join our reputable commercial real estate company. As a Corporate Accountant, you will be an integral part of the accounting team, responsible for managing and overseeing various financial aspects of the organization. Your primary focus will be to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting decision-making processes by providing valuable financial insights.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a must.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within the commercial real estate industry.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.

Experience with lease accounting standards is a plus.

Advanced proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel.
