About Suno
We're building the world's first creative entertainment platform, where the entire world can feel the joy and fulfilment of making music. Music is for everyone: Our users include everyone from grandmothers creating songs for their loved ones, to Grammy winners using Suno Studio, our power tool, to make the most popular hits in the world.
Building the future of entertainment requires ambition. The pace is fast, the problems are hard, and the work demands ownership and intensity. For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.
Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Matrix Partners, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).
About the Role
If you've spent your career building rigorous financial reporting functions from scratch and you're ready to do it at a company that moves at the speed of music — this is it. As Suno's first Director of Financial Data & Reporting, you'll own everything that touches financial data integrity: the processes, the statements, the audits, and the infrastructure underneath all of it. You'll work closely with our Data, Accounting, and Operations teams to bring real clarity to how we understand the financial health of the business — and use AI to get there faster than anyone thought possible.
What You'll Do
Architect and implement financial reporting processes from the ground up, establishing the standards for accuracy, compliance, and data integrity that the company will rely on for years.
Contribute the data and to preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring they are complete, timely, and audit-ready.
Work with auditors when necessary and ensure the proper controls are in place
Drive automation of manual reporting workflows by deploying AI-powered tools and agentic workflows — building an AI-native finance function that sets the bar for how modern finance teams operate.
Build finance focused executive dashboards when needed that give senior leaders the financial visibility they need to make fast, confident decisions.
Enable Suno's mission of making creative fulfillment a daily reality for everyone — by keeping the financial foundation solid enough to let the company keep building toward it.
What You'll Need
Must-Haves
10+ years of experience in financial data analysis, reporting, and accounting — ideally with meaningful time in a high-growth tech or startup environment.
Deep, hands-on experience with financial modeling and the ability to build and pressure-test complex models from scratch.
Proven track record of preparing financial statements and owning the end-to-end close process with full accountability for accuracy.
Experience working with auditors, including working directly with external auditors and building the internal controls to support them.
A genuine command of AI and automation tools — you actively use them in your workflow today, and you have a point of view on how to build an AI-native finance function.
Ability to partner at the leadership level, translate financial complexity into plain language, and influence decisions across the org.
Collaborative working style with a bias toward cross-functional alignment, and real comfort operating in ambiguous, 0-to-1 environments.
