About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Qualitative UX Researcher (full-time) to help us accelerate product development and iterate faster. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to bring the voice of the user into every stage of the product lifecycle.
You’ll be embedded in fast-moving teams and responsible for scoping, executing, and synthesizing research studies across a variety of initiatives—from creating and editing songs on web and mobile to marketing and user education.. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-velocity environment and loves shaping experiences through deep user understanding.

What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end qualitative research, including user interviews, usability tests, and diary studies across mobile, web, and platform experiences.
Support weekly research cycles across product and marketing initiatives, helping teams validate concepts and improve features with rapid iteration.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to scope research, identify learning goals, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.
Develop and deploy surveys that complement qualitative findings and provide lightweight validation for hypotheses.
Deliver compelling reports, presentations, and workshops that inspire action and shape roadmap decisions.
Advocate for the user across all touchpoints—from onboarding to remix tools to artist interactions.
Help establish and evolve research best practices and scalable processes to support rapid experimentation and growing demand.
What You’ll Need
5+ years of industry experience in UX research, with a strong focus on qualitative methods in fast-paced environments.
BA or equivalent experience in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
Deep expertise in qualitative research design, execution, and synthesis.
Solid working knowledge of survey tools and basic statistical analysis.
Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clarity.
Experience working collaboratively across design, product, and engineering teams.
A proactive, flexible mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in being the single researcher at a startup (even though we have a UX team, we function with high ownership like being the single researcher in a startup)
Experience in music, creative tools, or Gen-Z digital culture.
Familiarity with AI and generative technologies in product experiences.
PhD in HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Bonus points if you’ve used Suno to make music.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
