About The Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful, and systems-minded Workplace Technology Manager to own the employee technology experience at ShopMy. This role sits at the intersection of People and Technology — ensuring our team has secure, seamless access to the tools, systems, and devices they need to do their best work.
You’ll manage onboarding and offboarding across our tech stack, streamline vendor and contract ownership, support SSO and identity management, and ensure hardware, software, and security standards scale with the company.
As a core member of the People team, you’ll help create the infrastructure that supports our high-performance culture, ensuring that employees feel empowered, supported, and secure with their technology.
Your Impact to The Role:
- Account & Access Management: Own logins, licensing, and SSO/identity management across Google Workspace and other core systems. Manage Slack administration, email domains, and inbox access, including terminations and handoffs.
- Tool Onboarding & Offboarding: Run end-to-end tool provisioning for new hires, including accounts, seat management, and file transfers. Manage company technology plans, hardware procurement and set up, Rippling MDM enrollment, device trade-ins, repairs, and replacements. Evaluate tool options, centralize vendors, and manage ongoing contracts.
- Systems Implementation & Strategic Support: Serve as an internal tech-stack expert and evaluator. Partner with Engineering to ensure clean integrations and scalable workflows. Support workflow creation, automations, and integrations.
- In-Office Equipment & Setup: Oversee office hardware and infrastructure (WiFi, network security, monitors, peripherals). Track asset inventory for laptops, phones, and accessories. Support internal meetings and events with live troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Act as the first line of support for employees on software, hardware, and tool integration issues. Build and maintain a self-service knowledge base and FAQs.
- Security & Compliance: Partner with Engineering to manage device security, endpoint protection, and audit logging. Ensure SOC2 readiness and lightweight incident response processes. Implement best practices for secure provisioning, data protection, and compromised account monitoring.

What We Are Looking For:
- 5–7 years of experience in IT operations, workplace technology, or people-tech roles.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, SSO/identity tools, and MDM solutions (Rippling).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to centralize and document processes across multiple systems.
- Experience onboarding and offboarding employees in high-growth environments.
- Comfort managing vendor relationships and tool evaluations.
- High EQ and communication skills — able to work cross-functionally with empathy and clarity.
- Bias toward action — comfortable toggling between strategic system design and hands-on troubleshooting
Bonus Points:
- Experience with SaaS management tools (BetterCloud, Torii, Zylo).
- Familiarity with security standards (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR).
- Prior experience in a startup or creator economy environment.
- Knowledge of no-code automation tools (Zapier, Workato).

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
