About the role...
We are seeking a results-driven Director, Performance to scale and optimize our paid Opportunities product, ensuring success for every brand we work with. This cross-functional role will partner with brand success, creator strategy, and internal teams to maximize the impact of influencer collaborations as a growth channel.
Roles and responsibilities…
- Scale and Optimize Opportunities: Ensure that every campaign drives measurable success for brands by refining processes and delivering exceptional results.
- Adoption and Retention: Build strategies to enhance brand participation in Opportunities and ensure long-term growth.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Brand Success and team across ShopMy to create a streamlined pipeline for Opportunities.
- Creator and Brand Pairing: Use data-driven insights to identify creators who align with brand goals and performance metrics.
- Internal Training and Education: Help spearhead internal education on the Opportunities product and best practices.
- Brand Engagement: Lead regular check-ins with brands to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure continuous improvement in performance delivery.
- Drive Creator Growth: Expand the number of creators involved in Opportunities to ensure brands have a robust pipeline of creators to collaborate with.
Our non-negotiables…
- 5-8 years experience in growth marketing, ideally in a performance-focused role within a D2C company or similar environment.
- Familiarity with leveraging paid marketing channels for business growth and a strong understanding of performance metrics.
- General performance focused work in environments like finance (private equity, venture capital, banking); venture-backed, high-growth startups; SaaS; or others are also welcome.
- Ability to use data and KPIs to assess and optimize the success of campaigns.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead teams internally while collaborating across departments.
- Experience working on or leading growth marketing initiatives in various channels, including paid influencer and affiliate marketing.
