About the role…

We are looking for an organized, dynamic and creative events manager to oversee the planning and execution of ShopMy’s events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional experiences, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

The compensation for this role will be between $115,000-$125,000 annually.

Roles and responsibilities…

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including brand dinners and creator gatherings.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are handled smoothly, from venue selection to catering and audio-visual needs.
  • Create and maintain event timelines, checklists, and schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Oversee marketing efforts related to events, including promotional materials, social media campaigns, and attendee outreach.
  • Evaluate event success through post-event analysis, gathering feedback and insights to improve future events.

Our non-negotiables…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in event planning or management with a proven track record of successfully executing events.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
