About the Role

We’re seeking an Accounting Product Manager to help businesses and accountants seamlessly use Rho to simplify and enhance accounting workflows. You’ll work closely with finance teams and accounting firms to ensure Rho improves reconciliation, reporting, and tax processes—helping businesses close their books faster and more accurately.

This role is highly customer-focused. You’ll engage directly with accountants, finance teams, and partners to understand their workflows, pain points, and how Rho can make accounting smoother, not harder. Your ability to navigate diverse accounting needs and translate them into practical solutions will be key. You’ll also play a vital role in expanding Rho’s accountant channel, making it easier for firms to adopt and recommend Rho.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy for accounting workflows, ensuring businesses and accountants can seamlessly use Rho to simplify reconciliation, reporting, and tax processes.

• Engage deeply with accountants, finance teams, and partners to understand their needs and translate them into product improvements.

• Lead discovery and partner conversations to ensure integrations and workflows align with customer needs and industry best practices.

• Prioritize and deliver product improvements that help businesses close their books faster and more accurately.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations to build intuitive, scalable solutions that accountants and businesses rely on.

• Build strong relationships across the organization, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes shared ownership of product outcomes.

• Expand and strengthen Rho’s accountant channel, making it easier for firms to adopt and recommend our platform.

• Maintain a strong understanding of financial workflows, compliance considerations, and best practices in accounting automation.

• Clearly convey product strategies, updates, and insights to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions, track performance metrics, and make strategic adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• CPA or accounting background is a strong plus.

• 3+ years of experience in product management within accounting, fintech, or financial software.

• Deep understanding of accounting workflows, including reconciliation, reporting, and tax processes.

• Strong knowledge of how businesses and accountants integrate financial platforms into their workflows.

• Experience engaging directly with finance teams, accounting firms, or financial controllers to refine product offerings.

• Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to lead customer and partner conversations on integrations, compliance, and financial best practices.

• Ability to balance technical constraints with user needs, designing practical, scalable solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $213,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
