- Audit census data to identify missing fields, formatting inconsistencies, dependent mismatches, ZIP code anomalies, and eligibility flags.
- Validate prior carrier documentation such as rates, contribution structures, enrollment counts, and renewal methodologies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for submission requirements and clarify missing or unclear information with brokers or internal teams to prevent underwriting delays.
- Communicate intake status updates and escalate urgent or time-sensitive cases when necessary.
- Collaborate with BenOps and Implementation teams to ensure downstream processes receive clean, accurate, and complete data.
- Document recurring submission issues and partner with underwriting leadership to improve upstream processes.
- Contribute to knowledge frameworks by updating FAQs, intake guides, and broker-facing documentation.
- Ensure PHI and sensitive data are handled securely in alignment with HIPAA and internal compliance protocols.
- Confirm eligibility rules and state-specific requirements are satisfied prior to underwriting review.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Experience working with employee benefits, insurance underwriting intake, or related operational roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and data management tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
