Senior Product Manager

About the role
Nirvana is building the infrastructure layer for healthcare eligibility verification and revenue cycle automation. We work with large behavioral health and specialty care organizations to replace manual insurance workflows with accurate, real-time data.
This is an IC Senior PM role reporting to the Head of Product. You will own the product roadmap for Nirvana's agentic automation suite -- the systems that eliminate manual eligibility verification at patient intake -- and contribute informed product thinking to how our ML models predict member financial obligation and payer policy rules. You'll work closely with engineering, data science, and go-to-market to define and ship products that move us toward full workflow automation.
This role is a fit for someone who has built with data, shipped complex technical products in ambiguity, and is excited to help define what fully automated eligibility looks like in practice.
What you'll own
The agentic automation roadmap -- phone agents, portal agents, and the integrations that power end-to-end eligibility verification without human intervention
Product strategy and execution for how Nirvana's systems determine patient cost-share obligations, prior authorization requirements, and payer-specific policy rules at scale
Close collaboration with ML and engineering to define model instrumentation, evaluation criteria, and how model outputs surface in customer-facing products
Input into Nirvana's broader strategy for automating eligibility at intake -- what we build, in what order, and for which customer segments
Discovery and prioritization: working with CS, sales, and customers to identify where manual effort persists and translating that into a product bet
What we're looking for
5+ years of product management experience, with at least one meaningful promotion on your record
Genuine data fluency -- you've written SQL, worked with model outputs, shaped instrumentation, and made product decisions grounded in how systems actually behave
Experience shipping products that involved workflow automation, AI agents, or complex system orchestration -- you understand what it takes to build toward a fully automated outcome
Comfort working across technical and non-technical stakeholders; you don't need an engineer to translate for you
Strong written and verbal communication; you can synthesize ambiguous signals into a clear, defensible product direction
You've thrived in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment -- you know how to make progress without perfect information or a fully staffed team around you
Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another API-driven, regulated industry is a plus -- RCM or eligibility domain knowledge is a meaningful differentiator
What you won't find here
A fully-defined roadmap handed to you -- you'll shape it
Layers of process before you can talk to a customer or an engineer
A role where "data-informed" means pulling a dashboard someone else built
