About the role
This insurance specialist position focuses on coverage checks and benefits. As an insurance specialist, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, communicating with internal and external partners and insurance carriers to gather necessary information, and providing outstanding customer service related to benefits.
Location: Remote in Texas/In office option (Austin)
What you’ll do
Verify insurance coverage accurately
Efficiently communicate and gather necessary information
Resolve any issues related to coverage and benefits
Maintain accurate and organized records of all insurance-related activities
Provide outstanding customer service to clients by answering questions, resolving issues, and explaining insurance policies and procedures related to coverage and benefits
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to coverage and benefits Complete assigned tasks within the deadlines with the highest accuracy
Take ownership of completing project deadlines
Be available via Chat with Google Meet when needed
What we're seeking
Minimum qualifications:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations related to coverage and benefits is a plus
Preferred qualifications:
4-5 years of experience
1-2 years of Training and Project Management experience
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with working with overseas teams
