The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly analytical and insightful Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to manage strategic financial planning, forecasting, and financial analysis to help define the pathway to growth for the company on both a monthly and multi-year timeframe. You’ll own our corporate model and provide decision-driving insights across initiatives and functions. You will be at the heart of setting the metrics that drive the business on a day-to-day basis as well as guiding the trajectory of the company at-large.This role reports to the Head of Finance and Business Operations and is a hybrid role with three days a week onsite at our office in Midtown Manhattan.
What You’ll Own
- Manage and evolve the corporate financial model, creating scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support leadership decisions
- Monitor performance against plan and communicate drivers of variances
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Partner with accounting to align reporting and actuals with forecasts
- Develop and refine long-range strategic planning models
- Translate financial data into strategic insights and metrics for business growth
- Work with our Data Analytics team to build and maintain dashboards that reflect key business metrics and performance indicators
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set, track, and evaluate metrics and help analyze ROI of strategic initiatives including productlaunches, marketing campaigns, and discounts
- Assess profitability and operational efficiency across departments and business lines
- Help prepare materials for board meetings and investor presentations
- Support financial due diligence and data gathering for fundraising or partnerships\
Your Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of work experience, including FP&A or strategic finance roles
- MBA preferred
- Very strong financial modeling capabilities in Excel and/or Google
- Sheets (bonus for experience implementing AI-powered FP&A or financial planning tools)
- Operating experience combined with time in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity highly preferred
- Demonstrated success in or a concrete understanding of SaaS or subscription-based business models
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition
- Able to ask excellent questions that are hypothesis driven, including working with a Data Analytics team to structure analyses and translate results into meaningful takeaways and insights (i.e., the story with the numbers)
- Strategic mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity
- Comfortable owning FP&A end-to-end and advising senior leadership across functions (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content)
- Track record of driving efficiency, improving financial processes, and influencing business leaders to accelerate growth

- Competitive Compensation: base salary for this role will be $165,000–$180,000 annually, commensurate with experience
