Fellow moms and clinical psychologists Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky launched Good Inside in January 2021 after discovering that millions of parents around the globe were yearning for support along their parenting journey. The Opportunity
Good Inside is looking for a strategically-minded, exceptionally organized Head of Design to lead our overall design direction across the company, including: the design of our digital products, the expression of our brand across all touchpoints, and leadership of the broader design team that supports both. The ideal candidate can build, manage, and lead a world-class design team, but can also roll up their sleeves and lead through hands-on creation – inspiring others through making, not just telling. This is a hybrid role in Manhattan with three days a week onsite.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Actively contribute to, oversee, and be responsible for the company’s product design efforts (e.g. Web, iOS, Android)
- Actively contribute to, oversee, and be responsible for the company’s brand efforts (e.g. marketing, social, brand guidelines)
- Work with leadership and the product team to make sure both product and brand designs are aligned with company goals

What We’re Looking For in You
- You have 8+ years of relevant experience conceptualizing, designing and launching mobile and ecommerce digital products and experiences
- You have experience managing, hiring, and supporting the development of other designers, mentoring and upleveling their craft
- You have experience working directly with executives to translate business needs into effective design solutions from concept to completion
- You have an excellent skillset in both visual interface and graphic design as well as structural UX and digital product architecture
- Extensive experience with our tools, Jira, Slack, Google Suite, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization
- You have exceptional attention to detail and project management skills

- Compensation transparency range of $185k - $225k annually and company equity
