The Role
Frontera is seeking a highly operational, detail-oriented, and proactive People & Office Operations savant to provide coverage during a 4-month maternity leave. This role report into the VP of people, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes ownership quickly, and enjoys being the connective tissue that keeps teams, systems, and offices running smoothly.
This is a hands-on execution role with meaningful autonomy. You’ll own day-to-day people operations, support employee experience initiatives, manage internal communications, and ensure our Denver office operates seamlessly. You should be comfortable jumping in, spotting gaps, and moving work forward without waiting for direction. We are an in-office team, located at 1517 Blake Street.
What You’ll Do
People Operations (Core Focus)
- Serve as the day-to-day Rippling administrator, owning onboarding, offboarding, workflow management, and issue resolution
- Lead onboarding end-to-end, ensuring a polished, welcoming, and compliant experience for every new hire
- Support benefits administration and leaves (including coordination, documentation, and employee guidance)
- Maintain people documentation, templates, and process hygiene
- Support employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Assist with learning & development programs, including scheduling, tracking participation, and supporting enablement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve people processes and operational efficiency; implement fixes where possible
Internal Communications & Project Management
- Support company-wide communications related to people programs, policies, office updates, and key dates
- Project manage People Team initiatives, including:
- Maintaining weekly meeting decks
- Updating trackers and timelines
- Documenting decisions and follow-ups
- Ensuring work progresses on schedule
Executive & Company Support
- Coordinate leadership offsites and key team moments
- Support company-wide meetings and town halls, including deck prep, logistics, and agenda coordination
Office Operations
- Own day-to-day Denver office operations to ensure a welcoming, organized, and functional environment
- Manage vendors and liaise with building management
- Oversee lunch and snack programs, kitchen restocking, and office supplies
- Plan internal events, celebrations, and ad-hoc gatherings
Contract Duration: ASAP through August
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of experience in People Ops, HRBP, HR Operations
- Strong preference for Rippling experience; familiarity with Greenhouse strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and follow through consistently
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable handling sensitive employee information with discretion and sound judgment
- Clear, concise communicator; written and verbal
- Calm, solutions-oriented, and unflappable in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
Hourly range: $50-70 hour, depending on experience and level
