About the Role:
We’re looking for a Manager, Business Development to lead, coach, and scale our Business Development team. This person will build a high-performing pipeline engine, partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership, and develop the next generation of SaaS sales talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, hire, and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), ensuring they meet and exceed pipeline generation goals.
Establish and refine prospecting strategies (outbound email, calls, LinkedIn, events, etc.) that align with company growth targets.
Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure alignment on ICP, messaging, campaigns, and lead follow-up.Define and track key performance metrics (e.g., activity levels, conversion rates, qualified opportunities created).
Provide ongoing training and coaching on messaging, objection handling, SaaS sales best practices, and tools.
Collaborate with RevOps to optimize workflows, territory management, and reporting.
Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement across the BDR team.
Provide training and support to customers to ensure successful adoption and usage of our platform
Collaborate with our sales and product development teams to identify and implement product improvements and new features based on customer feedback
Monitor and analyze customer user data to identify opportunities for improvement and proactively address potential issues
Who you are
3–6+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or management role.
Proven track record of leading BDR/SDR teams to exceed pipeline and revenue contribution goals.
Strong understanding of outbound prospecting strategies and modern SaaS sales motions.
Skilled in using CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft, Gong).
Excellent coaching, communication, and motivational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
