Axion Ray is looking for a Chief of Staff to partner directly with our CEO and executive leadership team. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, streamline operations, and accelerate execution across the organization. You will serve as a critical integrator, problem solver, and thought partner at the center of Axion Ray’s mission to use AI to improve the safety and quality of engineered products—aircraft, EVs, medical devices, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute company-wide initiatives spanning OKRs, operational reviews, roadmap planning, and cross-functional alignment

  • Build executive-level materials including board decks, investor updates, internal strategy presentations, and leadership prep documents

  • Drive coordination across Product, Engineering, GTM, People, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of top priorities

  • Establish and optimize internal processes for meeting cadences, information flow, dashboarding, and decision-making

  • Support the CEO in time management, meeting prep/follow-up, and executive-level communications

  • Own special strategic projects across a range of business areas

  • Act as a sounding board for the leadership team, surfacing insights, anticipating needs, and proactively resolving roadblocks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or Chief of Staff roles—preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or AI environment

  • Background in management consulting or experience serving as Chief of Staff to senior leadership

  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with minimal oversight

  • Executive-level communication skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives and influence senior stakeholders

  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with data tools and performance dashboards

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a bias for action and problem solving

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; trusted collaborator across all functions and levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • Experience supporting C-level executives or working in a Chief of Staff capacity

  • Familiarity with AI, manufacturing, or tech companies

  • Prior experience designing operational playbooks or leading organizational change

  • A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable mindset
