We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in driving the success of our go to market strategy. As the first Product Marketing hire, you will be responsible for market positioning, creating compelling product messaging, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the successful launch and ongoing promotion of Axion Ray products. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will join the team in a senior IC capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Utilize market insights to inform company positioning, vertical strategies and differentiation.

  • Define and communicate the unique value propositions of Axion Ray products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop vertical go-to-markets

  • Create marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and product documentation.

  • Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and materials to effectively sell Axion Ray products.

  • Develop sales enablement, presentations, and training sessions.

  • Cultivate relationships with key customers and gather feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Identify and develop customer success stories and case studies.

  • Act as in input to integrated marketing campaigns to generate awareness and demand for Axion Ray products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

  • Proven experience in product marketing within the technology industry and specifically at early stage startup.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead projects from concept to execution.

Axion is based in New York, New York with a headquarters in Williamsburg and the team works in a hybrid capacity. This role is expected to work in office at least 3 days weekly.
